This site is maintained by PabloPabla, a lawyer in his mid 30s who practices law in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For the past 6 years, he has been dealing primarily with work relating to insurance, general litigation and some credit card related banking matters.
His area of interest includes insurance claims related to motor vehicle accidents, industrial accidents and property related losses or damages eg. burglary claims, flood damage claims, fire claims and the like. The firm that he works for is currently in the panel of a few insurance companies, some of which are international insurance companies.
Apart from insurance-related claims, PabloPabla’s work also covers general litigation from the likes of Probate and Administration of Estates, Debt Recovery, Defamation, Companies Winding-Up, Breach of Contracts, Family Matters and Intellectual Property. Another area of practice which PabloPabla has been exposed to is credit card debt recovery. He has also been involved in the drafting of conveyancing matters relating to property transfer transactions and general sale and purchase agreements.
Being trained in the UK, PabloPabla was exposed to the English Legal System. However, as he now works in Malaysia, most of the law that he practices are localised law, albeit based on the English Common Law in view that the Malaysian Legal System is modelled after the English Legal System.
